About LightShine Publishing

"The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it" John 1:5

Honoring Christ in the World of the Arts

The world is dominated today by anti-Biblical motives, methods, and messages.  It’s a dangerous environment that is often hostile to the Christian faith – and yet, someone must brave the world and carry the Light into the darkness.  LightShine Publishing exists to help train youth and families to do just that!

Theatre is a fun, engaging way to learn public speaking, leadership, and collaboration with others for a common goal.  It builds confidence in a low stress way, and for the child that already has confidence, it helps to shape and direct that enthusiasm and energy toward a productive goal.

These are skills that the Christian leaders of tomorrow will need.  Scripture calls all of us to be ready to communicate our faith clearly to the unbelieving world around us, and now, perhaps more than ever, the Kingdom of Christ needs bold, confident voices willing to proclaim the Gospel.

Creatively communicating truth is what theatre is all about – and LightShine Publishing is leading the way!

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” 1 Peter 3:15b
